GF1 is a fine mist of concentrated, premium-grade, hypochlorous acid in sterile water — the same molecule your immune cells make to heal and calm damaged skin, and nothing else.

Freshly treated skin is open skin. After a needling session, a laser, a peel or even a wax, the barrier is broken and the skin is raw and reactive. Two things decide how well it recovers. Whether it picks up an infection, and how long the inflammation lasts. Get those wrong and you will have longer downtime, redness that lingers, and be at risk of the thing everyone dreads, the dark marks that outlast the treatment (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation).

Anyone that is going for regular aesthetic treatments. For use after micro-needling, laser, chemical peels, dermabrasion and waxing. And any time the barrier is broken or the skin is reactive and you want to keep it calm and clean while it recovers.

One active, our premium-grade hypochlorous acid, in sterile water at a skin-friendly pH. That is the whole formula.

No SLS, parabens, mineral oils, alcohol or fragrance. Cruelty-free and vegan. Made with medical-grade water and as little plastic as we can manage.

Use before your treatment to ensure the skin is clean and any pathogens are removed.
Once the treatment is over, and your skin is clean, mist GF1 over the area from about 15cm.
For the first few hours, reapply every 30 minutes. After that, hourly while there is still redness.
Let the GF1 dry on its own. Do not wipe it off.
Once the skin has recovered switch back to GF2 daily.

We recommend staying out of the sun for the first couple of days post-treatment and using no other products on your skin until the recovery is complete.

If we receive your payment before midday, on a working day, then your parcel will go out the same day, where-ever possible. If not the same day then then the very next working day. We don't offer a same day service, but you are always welcome to collect yourself or send an uber or your own courier if you would like.

Our courier does not collect or deliver over weekends.

Orders to main centres normally go overnight unless they are over 2kg, or it's a Friday. Remote areas take a little longer, about 3 to 4 working days.

How GF1 helps

GF1 does three things for skin in recovery, and each is grounded in how hypochlorous acid actually works.

First, GF1 lowers the risk of infection.

Hypochlorous acid is the same broad-spectrum agent your own white blood cells make to clear bacteria, and it clears them (and their biofilms) on compromised skin without stinging or stripping. Plus it doesn't destroy the micro-biome (the bacteria you want to keep).

Second, GF1 calms the inflammation.

The active ingredient, hypochlorous acid, quickly controls the inflammatory signalling that drives redness, swelling and soreness after a treatment, so skin settles faster.

I want to commend you on an incredible product. I used GF1 for a deep laser treatment for Melasma. The recovery time for this treatment is usually 5-7 days. By day 3 I was completely healed and on day 4 my rough skin had sloughed off. I am very fair-skinned and I usually take a bit longer with recovery times. I also used it for a plasma pen treatment. We applied it multiple times during the day after the treatment. I had minimal inflammation and zero pain and the scabs had fallen off by day 5. We then did the follow-up treatment, but my product was finished by that time. This is where I actually realized how powerful your product is. I was in so much pain and had so much inflammation. I finally got around to getting a new bottle and within 24 hours the inflammation and swelling started going down and the pain became less and less.
I truly want to encourage everyone who gets invasive treatments done, to invest in this. It makes the world of difference post-procedure.

What is hypochlorous acid, and why is it good for treated skin?+

It is the molecule your own immune cells make to clean and calm damaged tissue. We make a stable, pure version in medical-grade water. So on freshly treated skin it does the same job your body is already trying to do, gently.

Will GF1 sting on raw or broken skin?+

It shouldn't. GF1 is pH-aligned, fragrance-free and alcohol-free, which is exactly why it suits open, sensitive post-procedure skin. If you do notice a reaction it is possible that the HOCl is reacting to something else on your skin, perhaps some left over products from the treatment. Please wash your face gently, but thoroughly, when you get home, and reapply.

If you are very reactive we recommend a patch test first.

When should I start using GF1 after a treatment?+

As soon as the skin is clean after the procedure. Apply every 30 minutes for the first few hours, this is when frequent misting helps most.

Does GF1 help prevent dark marks after a treatment?+

GF1 helps with the conditions that cause them. Those marks (post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation) are driven by inflammation, and calmer, tidier healing is less likely to leave them. It is a supportive step, not a treatment for pigmentation you already have.

Can my practitioner use GF1 in the clinic during the treatment?+

Absolutely yes, this will give you the best results overall.

We do offer a professional version, GF1 Pro, made for salon and clinic use. Recommend it to your practitioner.

How long should I keep using GF1?+

Use every 30 minutes on the day of the treatment. By the following day your skin should be almost totally recovered. If not, continue using every few hours that following day.

Once your skin has recovered switch back to GF2 daily.

Why does GF1 have a shelf life, and how do I store it?+

Because the active ingredient, HOCl, is generally fragile and unstable it eventually loses efficacy. Our product is made with a patented method that keeps it stable for over 2 years (independently verified).

HOCl does not like light, so store the product out of the direct sun.
Keep the cap on the bottle when not in use to protect the pump.
Once opened please use within 12 months.
Keep out of reach of children and babies as the bottle is glass.

What is the difference between GF1 and GF2?+

They are the same single active ingredient (our premium-grade hypochlorous acid in medical-grade water, pH-aligned to your skin), just made for two different moments. GF1 Aftercare, the one you are looking at, is for when skin has just been through something, whether that is a needling session, a peel, a minor procedure or a knock it did not ask for. GF2 Skin Rejuvenation is the daily one, a mist for skin that is reactive, blemish-prone or easily stressed, used morning and night as part of your everyday routine.

So the short version: GF1 for recovery, GF2 for everyday. Once things have settled and you want a daily mist, reach for GF2.
